First Snow

Saw the first snow on the distant 'tops' this morning. And it's so dark. Winter is almost upon us. Brrr..

Jerusalem Quartet

I heard the Jerusalem Quartet live in Manchester recently playing Beethoven, Brahms and Schubert and was so knocked out by their sound, style and enthusiasm for the music that I bought several of their Cds including this one of Dvorak’s two masterpieces: the American Quartet and Quintet in A major. Lovers of this music, and those new to it, will not be disappointed as the Jerusalem Quartet give their all to these superb pieces. Heartily recommended.
